The most accessible science based training.

Radiation Emergency Services has a variety of options to support Radiological Emergency Response and Preparedness.  Our primary goal is to support enhanced training and drills through leveraging technology solutions.  We also specialize in training and drill/exercise planning and analysis.

Come check out our booth to learn more about RadTeamSim.Route, a science based radiation field team driving simulation software tool built in Unity.  This software can be launched anywhere in the world with custom radiation readings based on the desired event or drill.

We have developed a scenario specifically centered around the I/ITSEC conference location so that attendees can try it out!  RadTeamSim.Route challenge coins will be provided to the first 400 people that stop by to test it as well!  We also will be handing out drink tickets for the hosted bar that we will be having in our booth during the Exhibitor Hospitality event on Tuesday night.

Radiation Emergency Services,LLC. is registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), and maintains a third party certification for Economically Disadvantaged Woman-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB).

  • RadTeamSim.Route
RadTeamSim.Route is a driving simulation that leverages real-world metadata for roads and buildings combined with science-based radiation dose-rate readings. Come to our booth to try out the scenario that was built for I/TSEC 2022!...

  • RadTeamSim.Route is the first of a suite of software being developed to support training and drills for the radiological response community.  The software provides a customizable and focused simulation that allows response jurisdictions to enhance training for those teams who will be performing important technical survey and sampling procedures throughout radiation incident response. In the current version, it allows users to upload any set of CSV files to create the radiation readings in the simulation. For example, an atmospheric model can be used to create a simulated radiological scenario ground truth for a nuclear power plant release using the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s (NRC’s) Radiation Assessment System for Consequence Analysis (RASCAL) software (https://ramp.nrc-gateway.gov/codes/rascal) in combination with tools such as RadResponder’s (http://www.radresponder.net) simulation capability to create a simulation file that can then be used to obtain distinct values for each location in RadTeamSim.Route.
