This year, EducationXR and Mass General were awarded the five-year CDC grant, “Strengthening Healthcare Infection Prevention and Control and Improving Patient Safety in the United States.” With this grant, Mass General, global experts in infectious diseases, will use EducationXR technology to create novel approaches to virtual training addressing the challenges related to infection prevention control (IPC) education.
EducationXR is a software created by Heizenrader LLC to address creation, deployment, and distribution of immersive content to all phones, tablets, desktops, and VR headsets. License EducationXR tools to create, from simple no-code experiences to very complex interactive training available from any device.
This past November, Heizenrader was awarded a Phase I SBIR grant and is in search of a partner to pursue a Phase II SBIR. Mayo Clinic, GE Healthcare, Merck, Philips, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Medtronic, among others are currently users of the EducationXR platform, and it is expected that this cross-platform technology will be actively introduced to the DoD in 2023.
