Quantum3D will introduce the latest capabilities of its new Mixed Reality Image Generation Visual System equipped with Quantum3D’s award-winning MANTIS® software showing as a part of Quantum3D’s Cessna 172 Aircraft Simulator. This state of art new product is a turnkey IG, affordable (eliminating expensive display system), 360 degrees visuals with 90 fps. VR capabilities allow to see virtual world and MR/AR capabilities allow to see real world (hands and cockpit). Quantum3D’s new immersive technology can be integrated with all kinds of military and civilian aircrafts in the market.
MANTIS demo will show Quantum3D’s capabilities of Level D airport development, custom 3D models and terrain development with existing library of thousands of 3D models and 30,000 airfield models.
MANTIS offers advanced visual simulation solutions for multiple applications, including fixed and rotary-wing flight simulation, ground vehicle simulation, tank simulation, maritime simulation, mission rehearsal, sensor simulation and more. Support is provided for both multi-projector dome display systems as well as virtual/augmented/mixed reality (AR/VR/XR) hand mounted displays (HMD). MANTIS is available as a software application on both Windows and Linux and included on Quantum3D’s Independence® IDX 9 series (IDX 90, IDX 900 and IDX 9000) Image Generators.
The latest version of the company’s military grade realistic Virtual Reality Parachute Simulator can be seen in our booth 635. It provides the opportunity to prepare for the task accompanied by an instructor in a high-resolution database and virtual reality environment, enhances the real performance of its user, and contributes to the units to use their resources more efficiently by reducing the number of real jumps.
In addition, you will find information about Quantum3D’s Augmented Reality Maintenance Training App which is available for iPhone, iPad, and HoloLens. This demo puts you in the shoes of an aircraft mechanic being trained on the procedures for repairing a complex helicopter jet turbine engine. You’ll be able to position a virtual CAD model of the engine floating in front of you, and then receive step-by-step instructions on a critical repair operation.
