Orlando, Fla. (June 30, 2021) – Less than two months after expanding into the Orlando market, AR/VR training firm, 3D Media, has received notice of the award of a major contract.
The company signed a SBIR phase two modification contract with the Air Force’s Rapid Sustainment Office (AFRSO) for the company’s augmented reality solution for the F-15E platform. This contract valued more than $1.5 million over 12 months enables 3D Media to further accelerate development of the solution developed under a previous SBIR contract with the Rapid Sustainment Office.
The company plans to add seven full- and part-time positions in the Orlando area because of this contract.
