JIRACOR is pleased to announce it’s been awarded an $2.4M contract from the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) to purchase, delivery, installation, setup and test of commercial items configured into the Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC) -Virtual Shipboard Training System (VSTS) training facility to be located in Jacksonville, FL. The MMSC-VSTS supports individual, multiple, and team training for MMSC crew to train to qualify (T2Q) watch stander and train to certify (T2C) team training requirements. In addition, these efforts are part of the Surface Training Advanced Virtual Environment (SLATE) Virtual Shipboard Training System (VSTS) and the hardware that operates the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) and the Multi-Mission Surface Combatant (MMSC) Immersive Virtual Shipboard Environment (IVSE) Courseware.
